Habilidades investigativas en estudiantes de posgrado en Educación

Abstract

RESUMEN: El presente artículo tuvo por objetivo realizar un análisis comparativo de las habilidades investigativas que manifiestan estudiantes del posgrado en Educación de una unidad académica de sostenimiento público y una unidad académica de sostenimiento privado del Sur del Estado de Sonora. La investigación se desarrolló en el paradigma cuantitativo, con diseño descriptivo transversal, no experimental. Se aplicaron los instrumentos de evaluación de habilidades y competencias de investigación y el test de habilidades investigativas a un total de 40 profesores participantes divididos en dos grupos. Se utilizó SPSS versión 25 para el análisis de los datos. Dentro de los hallazgos principales se destacan la habilidad valorar información y la competencia comunicar resultados de manera escrita donde el estudiantado se autopercibe mayormente competente.

ABSTRACT: The objective of this article was to carry out a comparative analysis of the investigative skills manifested by graduate students in Education of an academic unit of public support and an academic unit of private support in the South of the State of Sonora. The research was developed in the quantitative paradigm, with a descriptive-transversal design, not experimental. The research skills and competencies assessment instruments and the research skills test were applied to a total of 40 participating teachers divided into two groups. SPSS version 25 was used for data analysis. Among the main findings, the ability to assess information and the competence to communicate results in writing are highlighted where the student body perceives themselves to be mostly competent.
